Catch a Falling Star

According to Pat Small (Ashworth), the music, "Catch a Falling Star," was the theme music for our Senior Banquet in Tyler, Texas.  Frankly, I don't remember.  I searched the internet for the tune and found a "wav" version, but it is so big, it would take about 10-15 minutes to load using a 28.8 bps modem speed.  For this reason, I decided, not to put it on the site.    I'll keep looking for the tune in the "midi" format which will be quicker loading.

The lyrics are:

Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

For love may come
And tap you on the shoulder
Some starless night
Just in case you feel
You want to hold her
You'll have a pocketful of starlight

Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day

For when your
Troubles start multiplying
And they just might
It's easy to forget them
Without trying
With just a pocketful of starlight

Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star
And put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day
